About the Speaker:

Michael is the CEO of Evergreen Podcasts. It has been an illuminating and fun experience. As a published author, columnist for a large daily newspaper and former host of a syndicated radio program, Michael enjoys the tumult and opportunity the old media and new media industries offer. Born, raised and corn-fed in Dayton, OH, Michael took his first big step in the world by attending Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. After graduating college, he worked as a software developer focusing on UNIX (the stone age of computer languages).

Michael made his way to Cleveland, OH after being accepted into Case Western Reserve University. “Everything great in my life – both professionally and personally – has happened in Cleveland. What a great, great place to live.” Michael lives in Lakewood, OH with his wife and precocious daughter.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Mark M. Polatajko joined Kent State University in January 2016 and serves as the senior vice president for Finance and Administration.

In this role he provides strategic and innovative leadership to enhance, evaluate, develop and implement customer-driven financial system policies, procedures, and processes for the efficient and effective delivery of services to the university community.

He is responsible for the overall leadership of the Division of Finance and Administration which includes: budget, business and administration services, compliance and risk management, facilities planning and operations, financial reporting, human resources, internal audit and public safety.

About the Speaker:

Robert Olszak is an experienced global supply chain management executive with demonstrated expertise in leading multi-disciplinary organizations. Having led enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives for several global organizations. With 30 years of industry knowledge and professional achievements, Robert has held positions of Chief Operating Officer, President, Vice-President, Regional Operations Engineering Manager, Logistics Manager, Facilities Manager, and Senior Manager. He has recorded over 12,000 hours of consulting services that include project and program management, organizational strategy formation, logistics and distribution network modeling, greenfield, and brownfield DC expansions, technology and digital supply chain network implementations, small business planning, forensic data analysis, inventory optimization projects, and manufacturing production. Having worked with more than 60 brands in the past decade.

Robert is an industry-recognized thought leader contributing to trade publications, being a guest speaker on supply chain podcasts, speaking at University programs, participating in CPE events, and hosting supply chain management webinars. He has a passion for client success with a servant leadership approach that has resulted in over 300 successfully completed projects, saving clients a combined $400M.
In 2023, he was recognized by CIO Views Magazine as “Top 10 Most Influential People in Supply Chain.” Also, recognized by CIO Today Magazine as “The 5 Most Unstoppable Outstanding Business Leaders to Watch in 2023.” Nominated for “Top 100 Supply Chain Professionals” by industry panel for FY24 recognition.

Joint meeting with the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Ohio Society of CPA’s

 

Cleveland Cavaliers on the Forbes NBA Team Valuations List

 

The Northeast Ohio Chapter of FEI is hosting with the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Northeast Ohio Chapter of IIA a fun day of training, networking and NBA basketball, with a clash of the top two teams in the NBA East.

Please join us for 4 hours of engaging learning with 4 CPE credits, a networking dinner, and finish off the day watching the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Boston Celtics!

Those who purchase a game ticket with the training will also receive a Kelce Brothers Bobblehead. The tickets will be lower level seats. Family and friends game tickets (include dinner) can also be purchased for $109.

4 hours of CPE will be available, including 1 hour provided by a FEI NEO Strategic Partner BMO
